Cure Dis-ease

Suffering is part of life. What do we do about it? We could be anxious about illness, depressed about old age, or withdraw from society. However, none of these actions make our situation any better.

As individuals we can elevate our energy to heal ourselves and in turn, heal the world.

How do we elevate our energy to heal ourselves and then others?

Simply take a moment to be still and quiet, feel your body in space.

BE INTENTIONAL. Close your eyes or focus on a spot in front of you.

Clear your mind of distracting thoughts by bringing all of your awareness to your breath.

I am breathing in, I am breathing out.

You can add meaning to your breathing practice, such as,

“I breathe in peace, I breathe out stress”

(To cleanse)

“I breathe in peace, I breathe out peace”

(Now you are made of it, offer it back out)

“I breathe in health, I breathe out illness”

(To cleanse)

“I breathe in health, I breathe out health”

(Now you are made of it, offer it back out)

“I breathe in trust, I breathe out worry.”

(To cleanse)

“I breathe in trust, I breathe out trust"

(Now you are made of it, offer it back out)

(Or any words that feel healing to you)

This practice might seem ‘out there' or ‘silly' but give it a try. Feel the difference in your physical, mental, and emotional health.

Practice GRATITUDE.

There is so much to be grateful for.

Ponder all that you are grateful for today.

I hold my hands in a prayer position at my heart center in Anjali Mudra and mentally or out loud say THANK YOU!

Thank the universe.

Thank God for all of the blessings and miracles in life.

This practice is challenging when in the midst of suffering, which is even more of a reason to do it. Gratitude is so very powerful and transformative, especially when practiced often over a long period of time.

ASK FOR HELP.

From family, friends, your community, from the universe and God.

You are not alone in this. We all suffer. By asking for help, in surrender and reverence, we open ourselves up to receive healing energy.

Worrying depletes your immune system.

Practice and all is well.
